23 How God Builds an Army

   God works through levels of authority.  Every army has a hierarchy of command.  If nobody is in charge, you have anarchy.  We need to recognize that He has positions of authority throughout his Word. 

   There has to be a leader before He can have an army.  He will call the leader and prepare him for duty.  Many people want to be a deliverance worker, but they want to start out as a general.  I tell them they need to start out as a private in God’s army.  Everybody either enlists or is drafted.

Deliverance isn’t taught in any university, so you will need to go to a church that mentors and teaches deliverance.  Most people who try deliverance read a book from somebody who thinks it should be a certain way but has never done it. Deliverance books and manuals can’t train “Generals” how to lead their people when the author hasn’t even risen to leadership level.
