19 Fatherless Sons and Daughters

The absentee father or mother has a lasting effect upon your development. Many people did not have a father or mother growing up. Or if they had an absentee father or mother who were there, perhaps they had "checked out", or were void some other way. If your parents weren't there for you, it more than likely has had an unsuspected and lasting effect upon your life.  Being fatherless often causes arrested development. Leaving you to search for needs to be met, which were previously unfulfilled. A major affect of this empty feeling is the under-development of your emotional infrastructure.
