16 Crippled by Shame

 Shame has many aspects and is very crippling. This debasing emotion can stem from an offense, the consciousness of sin, an injured reputation, hurt, pride or guilt. Like a grindstone it gnaws, eating away at consciousness, destroying the victim from the inside out. By eroding your strength and confidence, slowly your self-respect is ravaged. This kind of shame will disable and thwart effective service to the Lord. No one can be mighty in the Holy Spirit until this problem is confronted and defeated scripturally.
